Nine members of the BIT Organization Committee meet in London (8 in person, one via Skype) to select the 122 50-minute sessions that will be offered Thursday and Friday at this year’s conference. Not an easy task given the large number of excellent session proposals submitted.
Each proposal was reviewed, using the results from the full committee evaluation process. The vast majority of the sessions selected for Thursday and Friday demonstrate the pedagogically-driven integration of technology in education.
This coming week, emails will be sent to everyone who submitted a session proposal. For those who have had a session accepted, a prompt response would be appreciated. When the acceptance emails have been received, the session information will be loaded into Lanyrd and everyone will be able to review the outstanding lineup of session available this year.
For those interested in extensive hands-on experience, plan to attend Wednesday. A blog post in the very near future will outline what has been planned.
A number of people have asked when registration will open. The answer is, soon. Very soon. We realize that some of you need to register prior to the end of this school year. We assure you that this will be possible.
Keep checking here, and our social media feeds for conference updates.
