Update – Session Proposal Selection

It was exactly one month ago (April 10) when we posted about the process for Session Proposal Selection.

All the sessions have been reviewed by multiple members of the Conference Committee.  This is a month-long process as each member had over 40 proposals to review and all the committee members are volunteers with other commitments.

The review process data is being analysed.  Various spreadsheets capturing different aspects of the review have been created and are being analysed.

The final step in the process will be a face-to-face meeting to make the final selections.  The first available date for the required committee members to meet is May 28.  As a result, email notifications will be sent in early June.

Prompt responses to the emails in early June will allow us to populate Lanyrd with this year’s conference program and open registration.

Bring IT, Together is “the” #edtech conference to attend for a variety of reasons.  The quality of the sessions is second to none for Ontario Educators.  Many initiatives have started or sustained themselves as a result of attendance at this conference.  The common thread running through presentations, presenters, and attendees is alignment with the Ontario Curriculum.  That makes this conference the authoritative voice for the best demonstration of technology and classroom pedagogy using that technology in the province.

Stay tuned for information about keynotes, volunteer opportunities, social events, and much more!
